Now Hiring – BRACE Project Management Unit (PMU), Ministry of Education and Training
In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Training, Save the Children Australia is seeking
dedicated and qualified professionals to join the Building the Climate Resilience of Children and
Communities through the Education Sector (BRACE) initiative. We are recruiting for the following positions, with full job descriptions provided (click on title):
1. BRACE Finance Manager
2. BRACE Operations Manager
3. BRACE Program Quality & MEAL Manager
About the BRACE Initiative
The BRACE Project is a multi-country climate adaptation initiative implemented in Tonga, South
Sudan, and Cambodia, with primary funding from the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
In Tonga, BRACE is delivered through a partnership between the Government of Tonga (via the
Ministry of Education and Training – MET) as the Executing Entity (EE), and Save the Children
Australia as the Accredited Entity (AE).
The initiative aims to strengthen the resilience of children and communities by embedding climate
adaptation into education systems and practices.
To support implementation, the PMU will be established within MET, Nuku’alofa office, responsible
for: Planning and coordination, financial and contract management, environmental and social
safeguards; monitoring, evaluation and reporting. The PMU is responsible for the overall
coordination of BRACE and is led by the Team Leader.
